After randomly picking your role, you go right into work with the other new MPs. In the numerous meetings, you get to know your party, your committee and your working group. These three bodies confront each participant with different challenges. In order to solve them, you have to master your topic as well as the diplomatic relations to the other parties.
Since all the factions (in MYP, they are called Parliamentary Party Groups – PPG) have the same size, you need to build alliances to shape the proposed draft laws in the committees and create majorities to pass the finalized laws in the general assembly. The big highlight of the MYP is the final debate in the plenary hall of the Lebanese Parliament, where each working group can present the results of their hard work.

During the whole duration of the 4-day intensive program you will be guided by representatives of the Lebanese parties and experts of the draft laws as well as coaches who will help you with content and procedure.
Depending on shown skills in leadership, work on content and engagement, selected participants will have the chance to visit Germany after the end of the program. FNF will organize a political visiting program, including a visit of the Reichstagsgebäude, the location of the German parliament in Berlin.
